All Nighter

Sometimes I feel like professors decide
To find a good reason to make us all cry

Schedule all their exams on all the same days

And give us a good reason to kneel down and pray

(I think I'll quit school today)

Great Photoblog

myparentswereawesome.com
It's my new favorite website.
Basically you just email cool old pictures of your parents and they post the best ones!
Who needs the Sartorialist when they can draw inspiration from these gems?

I'm going to have to call mom and see if she has any good pictures of her and my dad I can contribute :)

Shoulda Woulda Coulda

Once upon a time I wrote a song, and the song had a sing along part, and Rachel (my roommate/best friend) was kind enough to perform with me one afternoon. And we lived happily ever after.

If you're wondering why I keep looking up about 1/2 way through... it's because my neighbor was opening and closing the door... I'm easily distracted.

Happy Happy Birthday Sarah Dear

Happy days will come to you all year
If I had a wish that wish would be...
A happy happy birthday to YOU from ME!

Happy 21st to my best friend, SARAH

I saw Jenny Lewis!

Oh ya... and Jonathan Rice (AKA her boyfriend) too.
And I stood in the very front, in the very center.
Yup... That was my view for the most glorious concert of my life. My friend Karen, me, and her pregnant sister (I hope I'm cool enough to go to concerts when I'm pregnant) made the 45 minute trek to SLC... and it was well worth it.

Sadly... Karen was behind this guy:

Jenny Lewis started out as an actress, then became the lead singer for a little band called RILO KILEY (I love them... can't you tell?), then did some solo work (also amazing), and is now touring the country with her boyfriend and their new band... Jenny and Johnny. There's nothing better than peppy duets sung by people who are actually in love.

I love you Jennayy.

They are just so cute.

Summer was....

Great Fun!
Even though I worked most of the time (7:30-4:30 5 days a week), at an English school for foreign teenagers and adults. The people I worked with were wonderful to be around, and it is so much fun to have friends all over the world. I miss them a ton! The reality of school and studying is definitely starting to set in. :(
My summer in pictures (mostly):

Sarah and I drove home the Loooooong way home on the I-80 through San Francisco so we could see the sights and visit Jack.
These are pictures we took at this really cool lighthouse in Point Reyes.

Jack on the rooftop of the LDS Berkeley Institute of Religion. If you're wondering if that tiny thing to the right is the G.G. Bridge, and the tiny cluster of buildings on the left is San Fran,
You're right. Great view eh?

I visited Rachel back in Provo. We ate at the Red Iguana in SLC. It was really delicious I know my face tells a different story, but trust me, it was amazing.

Regan got MARRIED! on June 12th... another reason for me to visit Utah

My lovely friends from work, Star and Stefano :) I miss them waaaay to much.

This is Macu, the group leader for one of our groups from Spain. She was the best! I see a trip to Spain my future!

So... This is my boss, Sarah. AKA the best person to spend 8 hours a day with! Can't you tell we take our job very very seriously?

My best friend from birth, Katie B. got married! Our bridesmaid dresses were fabulous.

I played a little Ingrid for Trevor and Katie at their beautiful ring ceremony in Pasadena

And last, but not least, the best little brother in the whole world (he's on the far right) left on his mission! He will be serving in Hermosillo, Mexico for the next two years!
I'm going to start a blog with all his emails, I'll post the link when I finish it.

So basically... I'm sad summer's over. Can't you tell?
